We believe that this is an Apex 25 (A) with Chassis 500 but changed for export. Most probably only the chassis was exported to Switzerland and the record player "L. E. S. A.-Pick-up was built into a new cabinet made in Switzerland for this combination. We did not find this cabinet in the USA.
The model Apex 25-LT Radio-Grammo-Kombination was for instance in Switzerland in a sales brochure called "1933 Das Beste in Radio" by a Hs. Reinhard in Kriens (near Luzern) with pictures, Swiss price, and data for 10 models:
