• This Equipment is powered by the integral crank dynamo (no battery, no power cord). It is a WW2 emergency transmitter for US pilots.
  Two modes: in automatic mode "SOS" is called automatically by the shaft disk (on a carrier frequency of 8280 kHz, crystal interchangeable). In manual mode Morse code can be transmitted on 500 kHz.

  The frequency of 8280 kHz used in this survival craft transmitter was changed later to 8364 kHz by the International Radio Conference (Atlantic City 1947)

  Das Gerät wird über den internen, handbetriebenen Generator gespeist (kein Akku und kein Netz). Dies ist ein Notsender für US-Piloten des WW2. Im automatischen Modus wird "SOS" über die Wellenscheibe gesendet (Frequenz 8280 kHz), im manuellen Modus können bei 500 kHz Morsecodes gesandt werden. Der Quarz für den automatischen Modus kann gewechselt werden.
