  • Portable Juke Box record player. It became known as John Lennon's Juke box because of photos of John with this Juke Box in the background and that it was often seen with the Beatles whilst they were on tour..

    It can be loaded with 40 x 7 inch 45rpm records. The beige buttons select the right hand side and the grey the left of each record, giving a total of 80 selections.

    Player mechanism was manufactured by a Swiss company called Gerinvex.

    There is a video explaining the operation of the KB Discomatic on the Radio Museums Youtube Channel. The record that is demonstrated during this demo is "Jackie" by Scott Walker, released 1968.
