A feature of this model of radiogram, and some other models, is the inclusion of KB's patented "Slot Diffuser".
"To improve high frequency response and diffusion, the aperture 6 in a loud-speaker baffle is reduced to a slot having a width no more than half the length. As an example, for maximum diffusion up to 8 kc/s., the width is about 1 inches. A composite slot having a maximum width of this order may be used, Fig. 5 (not shown)"
