  • Bemerkung
  • A balanced line transmission system, intended to help cancel out local electrical interference induced onto the down lead of an aerial. It would normally be used in conjunction with a long wire, or vertical rod aerial, and ideally the aerial would be set up outside the field of interference. The aerial was then feed into the mast head matching transformer unit which turns it into a balanced system. It is then fed via a screened balanced cable down to the receiver, where a similar transformer provides a pair of leads to plug into your radio set.

The term "Rejectostat" was also widely used by Kolster Brandes in the 1930's to also name some of their sets, which tended to be adapted to minimise mains interference.
