  • This is the first Superheterodyne Lafayette sells. The text runs as follows: "Today however, the problem of a single dial controlled, all electric operated super-heterodyne has been mastered by our engineers, and it is with justifiable pride that we present the Lafayette Super-Heterodyne - The Super of all Supers - The Super with no Harmonics." Sensitivity 1.5 microvilts per meter for cost to cost reception at all times, selectivity with "band with at 10,000 times normal input is "only" 30 kc wide". Receiving is 550 to 1500 kc.

    The following console models with Magnavox Concert Dynamic Speaker were available: model S-204 less tubes for $ 74.50 (list $ 155.00) and with complete set of RCA Radiotrons and Aerial Equipment for $ 89.75 (list price $ 181.60), model 250 for $ 84.50/99.75 and model C-2 Phono-Combination for $ 114.50/129.75 (list 255.80).
