- Rider's 14-36 shows a drawing date March 18, 1937. The Lafayette model D-34 is a 7 tube superhet with "improved Airplane Dial in Giant size" of 4.5" x 4.5" - it is a thing of beauty, its gold background blending harmoniously with the andsomely grained walnut cabinet. ... 9-tube results". The D-34 has AVC, a tuning "Eye", quality tone contriol. The two bands cover 49 to 130 meters and 175 to 555 meters. Listprice $ 40.00 and Lafayette price $ 19.95.
