  • Notes
  • VOM intended for laboratory use, which is quite big but still portable. An unusual feature is the 24-position selector linear switching mechanism, which uses a chain for the operation, and an indicator on the bottom of the dial to display the function selected. It has a very large 6.5 inch scale meter face, reducing reading errors. The internal resistance of 100Kohm/V for DC voltages reduces loading of the tested circuit. The ohm-meter function requires two batteries, one 1.5V (R20 or D type) and the other is a smaller size 15V for high resistance measurements. The most sensitive DC ammeter range is 10 microamps, which is impressive and can put to shame most modern multimeters.  Built quality is very good with a sturdy bakelite case.
