US/Canadian version of the Kosmos Elektromann kit (Elektromann Auflage 33) with a 140 different experiements. This was made in Montreal, Quebec under licence from Kosmos, Franckh´sche Verlagshandlung using the name Logix-Kosmos.
The major difference between this and the European version is the absence of the 4.5 V battery, which is not available in North America. The North American version uses four 'C' size batteries for 6 V instead.
The manual was translated into English from the 33rd edition of the German manual in 1972.
It was for sale in Canada until at least 1980 (as evidenced from a 1979 Sears Christmas Wish Book which was valid until April 1980).
