Dual Position Acousta Enclosure

This very compact free-standing enclosure, only 24 cm. wide, has been specially designed for installations where space may be at a premium or for use in awkwardly shaped listening rooms.

Facing into a corner or at an angle of 45° to a side wall, the Dual Position Acousta takes advantage of the special characteristics of the folded horn technique by coupling the final flare of the horn to the walls of the room.

This feature gives a low-frequency response which could not otherwise be obtained with such a small enclosure and at the same time provides a remarkably spacious sound due to the reflective effect of the wall surfaces.

The indirect distribution is also a further aid to the reduction of listening fatigue.

As with the Standard Acousta, the Dual Position Acousta may be fitted with either the PM6 Drive Unit or for even higher quality results with the new PM6 Mk I or PM7 unit.

The cabinet is available in teak or walnut.

For the home constructor, a set of working drawings is available at a modest price.
