One of the "Marantz Classic Series" of three reissued Marantz hi-fi products originally built in the 1960s, including the Marantz Model 9 Power Amplifier and the Marantz Model 7 Stereo Console Preamplifier. Built by the Valve Amplification Company Inc., Sarasota, Florida, to the exact original specification from parts made by the original suppliers
Its specification is identical to that of the original Marantz Model 8B Stereo Power Amplifier.
