  • Wireless set No.52 (Canadian): Medium range transceiver covering 1,75 - 16 MHz (1,75-4 / 3,5-8 / 7-16 MHz), AM (A3), MCW (A2) and CW (A1), pout 45 - 75 Watts telephony, 70-100 Watts CW;
    powered by 12 V accumulator driving rotary transformer for 285 / 1300 V transmitter HT and vibratory unit for 145 V receiver HT; vertical 8 - 36 foot rod antenna;
    used for medium range communications in brigades and divisions as vehicle or gorund station.
    The Wireless Set No.52 consists of a receiver unit, a supply unit in the middle and a transmitter unit at the right.
    The set replaced the Wireless Set No.9 (Canadian) and was an alternative for the Wireless Set No.12 HP.
    A similar receiver could be used with Supply Unit ZE-12 (12 V DC or 110 - 230V AC) for remote reception. In the list above, only receiver valves are listed.
