  •   The radio covers 3 bands, 550-1700 kc, 2.4-7.4 Mc, and 8-23 Mc.  Based on the tube compliment, the radio dates to no earlier than 1939, and it has a metal escutcheon which would inducate that it was likely made prior to WW2.  A ballast tube is included in the filament string.  There is a number "184U" stamped on the rear of the chassis which I have adopted as the chassis number.
