  • Notes
  • One dial (left) is the tuning, driving a four-gang tuning capacitor. In the center there is a "sensitivity" knob which adjusts for maximum amplification without oscillating, a detuning device as a capacitor in parallel to the first tuning capacitor. The speciality is a 3 digit calibrated tuning "counter" of the wave length (200 to 550 meters). The tuning knob operates a set of bevel gears which operate a standard 3-digit mechanical turns counter as the readout device (made by Veeder). The speaker that was provided with the Marti is the 10 inch Peerless Dynamic Type C. Details see uv201.com. The name plate informs about a patent no. 1,567,562.
