• One dial (left) is the tuning, driving a four-gang tuning capacitor. In the center there is a "sensitivity" knob which adjusts for maximum amplification without oscillating, a detuning device as a capacitor in parallel to the first tuning capacitor. The speciality is a 3 digit calibrated tuning "counter" of the wave length (200 to 550 meters). The tuning knob operates a set of bevel gears which operate a standard 3-digit mechanical turns counter as the readout device (made by Veeder).
