• Line-earth loop tester = contrôleur de l'impédance (en Ohms) de la boucle de terre.
  Le contrôleur boucle une phase sur le conducteur de terre par une résistance de 10 Ohms, interne à l'appareil. Pour effectuer la mesure, l'appareil envoie une impulsion d'une vingtaine d'ampères (20A) pendant 30 à 50 ms.
