- R.A.F "Bathtub" Flameproof Key, Ref.N° 10A/7741.
This key was the standard key used in British bombers throughout WW-II. It is totally enclosed, making it suitable for use in explosiv environments. The mechanism is attached to the top of the key and operates "upside down". The metal clip keeps the cover closed but it can also be slipped over the skirt of the knob to hold it down and thus send out a continuous signal.
