  • 10A/12160 rubber coated wire headband with solid rubber centrepiece and holders for earpieces. 
    10A/13466 Type 32 earpieces with bakelite cases. (As used in C and D type flying helmets, etc).
    10A/12161 replaceable rubber backed chamois ear pads.
    Standard 10H/488 jack plug typically for ground station use. (Aircrew versions may have a microphone spliced into the cable and a multipole plug).

    Cotton covered cable loom. The two coils in each earpiece have a nominal resistance of 4.7 ohms, and they are connected in series. The cable connects the two earpieces in series, and has a total resistance of about 5 ohms. Hence the resistance of the headset at the jack plug is about 24 ohms.
