• Wireless set No. 31: Short range man-pack transceiver covering 40 - 48 MHz VHF, FM (F3), p_out 0,30 Watt;
  powered by LT 4,5 V and HT 150 V and 90 V dry batteries; used by British Army for short range communications between infanry units carried as man-pack on march or in a slightly modified variant as AFV (armed fighting vehicle) set;
  The development of Wireless Set No.31 started during WW II, but first tests have not been accomplished until 1947 and it was introduced with the troops in 1948. The Wireless Set No.31 is technically and in appearence very similar to the U.S.Signal Corps BC-1000 (SCR-300) but it came with British headgear and microphone.
