Wireless Set No. 31 AFV was an VHF FM set intended for communication between AFV's and infantry equipped with Wireless Set No. 31. It was incorporated into an existing No. 19 Set installation in a tank or other vehicle. The set was principally a modified manpack Wireless Set No. 31 Mk.I, powered from the vehicle battery by a separate Power Supply and LF Amplifier Unit No. 3. The frequency coverage was 40-48MHz.
