VHF Receiver BC-683-(*): Frequency range 27 - 38,9 MHz, ten channel presets, NBFM (Amstrong license).
Needs dynamotor DM-34 (12 volts) or DM-36 (24 volts). Similar to BC-603 (20 - 28 MHz). Some slightly different variants with different suffixes, Suffixes with -*M stand for modified ciruitry.
Basic component of WWII field artillery radio sets SCR-608 (two receivers, one transmitter) and SCR-628 (one receiver, one transmitter), matches transmitter BC-684. Tubes only one time listed.
