  • Bemerkung

  • Compact aircraft receiver BC-453-A (navigation beacon receiver) for 190 to 550 kHz, identical to R-23/ARC-5 but part (Basic Component) of the successor of the ARC-5 set, the "Radio Set SCR-274-N". Mechanicaly tuned from a separate remote tuning unit (which can be substituted by a knob), powered from 28 V DC driving an internal dynamotor providing high voltage.

    The BC-453-A is identical to the BC-453-B  except that the BC-453-B has a tapped audio output transformer for 8000 ohm and 600 ohm output, whereas the BC-453-A has only a 8000 ohm output.
