  • Anotaciones
  • RT-67/GRC is a robust FM radio-set, designed for vehicular use, applied in several communication set-ups: stand alone as VRC-9, or in larger systems GRC-5, GRC-6 and VRQ-2, powered by PSU PP-109/GRC with 12 volts battery or PP-112/GRC with 24 volts battery. It could also be used in the field with auxiliary-kit MX-898/GRC, including generator G-8/GRC and (not neccessary) a battery-box CY-590/GRC.
Frequency range 27-39 MHz, transmitter output 2 watt low, or 16 watt high, FM(F3), voice and MCW.
In the double conversion receiver part we find a RF stage, a first oscillator and first mixer to a band of 4450 to 5550 kHz.
The left big tuning knob at the front serves a crystal-oscillator and a harmonics generator by switching to the desired MHz. There are 12 crystals to choose. The right big tuning knob serves a VFO to tune the desired signal within 1 MHz. After 2 variable IF stages, a second oscillator stage and second mixer stage bring the signal to a second IF of 1400 kHz, followed by 2 IF limiter stages, and a FM-discrimator with 2 valve-diodes 1A3.
The transmitter frequency is controlled by a special discriminator that compares the transmitting-frequency to the receiver-frequency.
The 2E24 transmitter-PA has a special quick-ready filament, and is only heated on transmit mode.
