  • Motorola "Pixie" models 45P1 (Black), 45P2 (Brown), 45P3 (Cream), 45P4 (Red) and 45P5 (Teal) are "pocket" recievers making use of subminiature tube technology. IF, Detector and Audio functions are acomplished by three subminiature tubes with a 7-pin miniature pentagrid converter performing RF mixing and oscillator action.

    Batteries used are Eveready 415 (45V) and one C cell. Battery consumption is 185mA for A supply and 5.5mA for B supply.
