  • As a peculiarity, the dial of this model is lettered in German. "München - Höchste Qualität" is the model name, followed by "highest quality", with a space missing.

    Interestingly, "Langewelle" (or more correctly, Langwelle) in German means "long wave" (LW), a term used in other countries to denominate MW. A German or German made radio from this time would not mix the two up.

    This model might be equipped with 3 speakers (two visible on images), as the text "Drei - Phonieton" might suggest. It translates to "Three Phonic tone" - a term that makes little sense in either language.
