    Mains PSU has a "rejuvenate" setting which puts a slight trickle charge and may be optional as the radio set plugs into it using identical leads to the PSU leads going to battery packs.

    Loudspeaker grill has a Mullard badge, otherwise very similar design elements to Supersonic  D16, even having a blocked off hole in the wood for telescopic aerial on the case  with cork. The cloth shows though that this model never had a rod aerial.

    Compare with more deluxe Supersonic D16

    The Mullard badge appears to  copy the Mullard valve/Tube logo rather than any Mullard Wireless set.
