  • A tuned RF premap to add to the Mullard Master Three or Mullard Master Three Star. Presumed to use same valve/tube as the RF on the Master Three Star.

    "Blueprint" supplied loose in "Radio for the Million" Vol2 No 4 1928 (1/- = 0.05 GBP), which lists parts (except the valve!) and gives wiring instructions. Has Neutralisation adjustment. Five page article. Note that in this period MW is described as "Short Waves".

    Schematic from booklet is simplified by omitting the LW/MW coil connections and switching, the text warns to switch the Master Three (either model) and H.F. Unit both to same band.

    Text discusses an ebonite front panel. Baseboard is specified as 5 ply 6" x 10" but this may be to accomodate the main receiver as 6" x 7" x  10" cabinet is recommended.
