  •                                 Mullard Model 63

       A five-valve dual-wave receiver is model 63, housed in a Burr-walnut finished cabinet with Florentine bronze finish metal fret bars.
       This is a high-performance receiver. In addition to the broadcast band from 540/1500 kc. there is a short-wave band ranging from 13-38 metres. Within this compass are to be found all the major short-wave bands.
       Again a 6-inch speaker is employed. The short-wave dial calibration is in the centre of the scale, with the Australian stations ranged in zones on either side.

    The Model 63 is priced at 18 gns.
