Monitor Series Stereo Preamplifier 1000S

A hi-fi stereo pre-amplifier in NAD's Monitor Series of hi-fi separates. Based on the NAD 1000 Monitor Series Stereo Preamplifier with additional balanced output XLR connectors, larger power transformer, oversize capacitive reserve, vetronite PCBs and gold plated sockets.

With RCA input sockets for Phono (MM or MC), Tuner, Video Sound and CD, input/output RCA sockets for two Tapes, a Phono MM/MC selector switch,  two pre-amp output sockets and balanced output XLR sockets. Some models have an AC outlet.

Rotary controls for Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume, push buttons for Power, Tape 1 Monitor, input selection (Tape 2, CD, Video, Tuner, Phono), Mono and Tone Defeat. Power On pilot light and jack for headphones.
