    AC/DC marine version of the NC-57

    Note hazard: Like many other Marine AC-DC receivers primarily intended for operation on 120 VDC shipboard, the chassis is directly connected to one side of the power line.  The cabinet is insulated from the chassis.  That insulation must be maintained.  The pilot lamp is at full line voltage.  The power switch connects the chassis to one side of the power line.  Thus the chassis can be live with voltage either by switching on or if off, by way of the cold tube filaments.

    An isolation transformer must be used for servicing.  For safety it is suggested for operation on AC also.
