  • The Denon PCC-1000 is a Phono Crosstalk Canceller. It is to be connected between record player with MM pick-up cartridge and the MM Phono amplifier input.

    In short, crosstalk is about left and right channel separation. At around 1 kHz the separation will be 30 dB at best.

    Next is the phase difference, which should be either 0 or 180 degrees, depending on the build of the phono cartridge.

    The use of a 45 r.p.m. vinyl record is used to minimize the crosstalk using the 4 controls on the PCC-1000 (2 for each channel).
