  • Pilot II combined VHF receiver and direction finder, complete with miniature earphone, leather carrying case, batteries, removable mounting brackets and 3 telescopic whip antennas. Tunable rotatable ferrite bar, gain and squelch control, tuning indicator.

    Wavebands:
    VHF/AM: 108 to 136 MHz
    Beacon/LF: 200 to 400 kHz
    Broadcast: 550 to 1600 kHz

    Does not feature Shortwave/Marine. Home power adaptor not included.

    Advertised with 13 transistors in January, with 12 Transistors in May 1965.
