Perfect country reception, tremendous daylight, and night receiving range with ease of operation and battery economy.

    Unique Features.

CHASSIS BUILT- Die-pressed from sheet aluminium it is absolutely rigid.

SHIELDING- Shields are stamped out in one piece aluminium and scientifically designed to act as limiting factors of the magnetic field and also as automatic stabilisers against short-wave oscillation.

STABILITY- With Philips high impedance valves (in conjunction with a special phasing stage) tremendous amplification with stability and selectivity is obtainable.

TRANSFORMERS - Audio Transformers are completely enclosed in steel cases and clip into place on top of the chassis.

    LOW BATTERY CONSUMPTION -

The Duophase "6" uses actually less "B" battery current than most 2-valve sets.

The total "B" consumption of this Receiver is guaranteed not to exceed 7 milliamps which means that the Burgess Batteries last twice as long.

The Accumulator "A" Battery should last from four to five weeks between recharges, the total "A" current consumption being 0.4 of an amp.

Also available as a table model.
