  • Annotazioni
  • Looking at the tubes given, it can not be earlier than 1937.

The chassis for this radio was manufactured by Mission Bell (Los Angeles, CA) as evidenced by the label that is attached to the chassis.  The radio then appears to have been distributed by Pacific Radio Corp (Los Angeles, CA) as a Model 60 as shown on the paste on the label.  The front of the radio has a Jackson - Bell placard.  Jackson-Bell went into receivership in 1933 and the name was used by Pacific Radio Corp in 1936.

Riders Vol. 8, pages 8-4 has a schematic for a Pacific Radio Corp. Model 60, however, that radio has a slightly different tube compliment as well as a tuning eye tube.  Other aspects of the schematic appear to be similar to this radio.

This radio also should not be confused with a Jackson-Bell Model 60.  That radio is a 7-tube cathedral from 1930 (Bunis, 7th Ed., p. 141), and the schematic is shown in Riders Vol. 7, page 7-3 with a schematic dated April 14, 1930.
