National Model R-440
Portable, fully transistorised, 4-band Panasonic Hi-Fi radio, housed in a square-look black leather carrying case with chrome front and carrying handle. The built-in square antenna flips up.
Features: supersensitive eight transistor, two diode, 4-band radio, Besides the tuning switch, a fine tuning switch is featured for better selection of short-wave stations, also a low and high tone control switch. The four UM-1D batteries are housed in the back of the radio and are easily accessible.
Frequency range: MW 525 - 1605 kC/s (kHz); SW1 1.6 - 4.5 MC/s (MHz); SW2 4.5 - 12.0 MC/s (MHz); SW3 12.0 - 16.1 MC/s (MHz). Maximum power output 1,000 mW. Speaker, 4" PM dynamic. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
Price in Australia after the introduction of decimal currency (14/2/1966) was $94.50.

Hier steht schon ein Forumbeitrag zum Modell R-441B. Der Verweis im letzten Eintrag leitet aber nicht zum Modell R441B, sondern zurück zum Modell R-440.

In meinen Besitz habe ich ein Kofferradio von Panasonic National wo ich den Typ nicht feststellen kann.Es empfängt MW +3 x KW,Stromversorgung Netz und Batterie.
Leider fehlt der Pappeabdekung über der Chassi wo alles draufstehen würde.Im RM ist ein ähnliches Gerät angelegt ( ID = 93883 ).
Vieleicht kennt,oder hat einer sowas um das Model anlegen zu können.
