National MFB Speaker System (Motional Feed Back) SB-88H

The National MFB Speaker System SB-88H uses Motional Feed Back technology, which is meant to increase low frequency response and decrease distortion while having relatively small cabinet sizes.

The speaker uses a special cord with four wires (designation SWE-39). Two wires are for the signal and two for the feedback (MFB coil in front of speaker). A switch regulates the influence of the feedback sensor inside the MFB speakers.

SB-88H is a two-way system equipped with:

• 8" PM dynamic woofer EAS-20PZ33S
• 2" PM dynamic horn tweeter EAS-5MM31S

Frequency response: 30 - 20,000 Hz
Crossover frequency: 3000 Hz
Input power: 10 W
Impedance: 8 Ω

The speakers can be used e.g. with model National SA-52 H (18 tubes).
