  • Forma

  • Annotazioni
  • Description is for European Model (dual language scale, SW - KW)

Somewhere between a "Boombox" and "Midi HiFi" in style and performance. The Loudspeakers are detachable (built in cable stowage) with probably Piezo Disc type Tweeters. The speakers have slots to wall mount on screw heads spaced 6mm from wall.

Volume, Balance and Five Graphic Equalizer bands:

    100 Hz, 330 Hz, 1 KHz, 3.3 KHz 10 KHz

The Manual refers to Mono & Stereo selector and also "Beat proof" switch at the Mono/Stereo switch location which is actually marked Mono I, Stereo II, Stereo III.

The input selector is Tape (Off), Radio (On) CD/Line (On). The unit is off only in the tape postion and Tape Deck Stopped. Recording from internal microphone, Radio or CD/Line (RCA sockets on rear) with ALC (Automatic Level Control)

Electrical Fine tuning to aid Shortwave station selection. Shortwave is approximately 5.8 MHz to 18.5 MHz

Ferrite Rod Aerial for LW & MW
Telescopic Aerial for SW & VHF-FM

Alternate Speakers are recommended to be 2.7 Ohms to 9 ohms.

    Headphone jack socket 3.5mm stereo.

No drive cord. The scale pointer (attached to removable front panel) is on a toothed plastic belt that engages with large cog on tuning capacitor when case assembled.

Uses common "Figure of eight" mains lead.

Weight includes 6 x Zinc Carbon "D" Cells. Alkaline will be heavier.

Appears to have been sold in Europe, USA, Russia and Austrialia, so there may be at least three versions as there is no voltage select switch and LW isn't much use in Australia or USA. The Australian example found has same model number but appears to have no line in and only BC-AM & VHF-FM (no SW or LW), one less switch, no fine tuning knob and no balance control. A presumably U.S. model looks identical. Yet the model number is indentical.
