Sold as a chassis with an 8" speaker. It was used in Models 79B and 78B. It is equipped with a tuning eye tube and vibrator for B+. It was advertised as being "climate proof," with all transformers, coils, and condensers (capacitors) vacuum impregnated. A high fidelity switch broadens the response curves of the intermediate frequency transformers.
