The Patterson PR-12 Receiver's frequency range is 550 kHz to 32 MHz. A crystal could be included with a model price of $89.70.
Note: In Communications Receivers: The Vacuum Tube Era, the author states that "No PR-12's were ever delivered." However, in the January 1935 QST, an advertisement for L.I. Marine & Electric Co., stated the PR-12 was in stock for immediate delivery. Likewise, an ad for Delaware Radiio Sales Co. in the same issue stats "prompt deliveries are now being made" with regards to the PR-12.
