  • This is a "memory trainer". It has a built-in clock that would turn on the machine several times at night so you could learn a speech, words from a foreign language, etc.while You were sleeping; It uses a special tape cartridge.

I bought this Dormiphone at a flea market. Every thing seems to work fine (audio input and output as welle as the timer). However, I don't know what kind of tape cartridge it would use. Some folks at my local radio club mentioned Fidelipac. But I think the Dormiphone was invented in the 1950's, prior to Fidelipac cartridges (1960"s). Any ideas?
