Junior Decca and Pixie Grippa, circa 1926. The Junior Decca, introduced in 1923, was smaller than the standard models, but similar in overall design. It could be finished in three ways: black leather, brown fiber (as in this case) and natural leather. The Pixie Grippa, from Perophone London, was an even more compact version, in this case of the Grippa, but boasted, as an extra feature, an 'auxiliary horn' attached to the front of the sound box. An ingenious feature is the motor plate, which can be slid forward to play 12-inch records.

Junior Decca e Pixie Grippa, 1926 circa.
