Believed to have been produced for the Radio-Olympia exhibition of 1948.
Hand made over sized cabinet in Queen Anne style, taken from a piece at the Victoria and Albert Museum - London. Briefly comprising of a lift up lid with florentine bronzed lid stay, serpantine front with false draws to the sides, cuboard doors which reveal the speaker and another false draw above that opens to show the control panel. The control panel can also be accessed from inside the lid of the cabinet, which also houses the radio controls, record storage and Garrard record changer.
