- Bemerkung
- The Philco model 28 series used a 6-tube 2-band AC/DC chassis, and included five specific models with different cabinets.
Model 28C (1934-35) was a compact table model which is well known as being one of two models (the other being model 45C) with a "butterfly" pattern on the front panel. Model 28L (1934-35) was a lowboy with an inverted "Y" central bar through the speaker opening. Model 28D (1935) was a highboy with doors. Model 28F (1935) was a floor-type console with a tulip pattern in the speaker opening. Model 28CSX (1935) was a chairside with a built-in speaker on an inclined sounding board.
