  • Annotazioni
  • Philco's model 29 series used a 6-tube 2-band AC-power chassis with shadow meter (tuning aid). There were five specific models with different cabinets.

Model 29D (1934) was a highboy with doors. There were two versions of model 29X floor-type console - an early version (1934) with a classical design and three round pillars in front of the speaker grill, and a late version (1934-35) with bars forming a "V" on the speaker grill.

Model 29TX (1934-35) was a compact chairside with separate speaker cabinet. The control unit was similar to a compact table radio. Model 29TX used a code 123 chassis with different speaker and output transformer than the other models in the series.

Model 29CSX (1935) was an all-in-one chairside with the controls in a T-shaped recess in the top of the cabinet.
