  • The Philco model 37-2650 series are 8-tube 4-band receivers which are export versions of selected models from the 37-650 series. On the 37-2650 series, a fourth band (LW) is added, and -E suffix ruggedized tubes are specified. Band coverage is 150-350 kHz (LW), 530-1720 kHz (BC), 5.7-11.6 MHz (SW1), and 11.5-18.2 MHz (SW2). Power source is selectable between 110 and 220 VAC 50-60 Hz by means of a two-position plug in the power supply. There are also versions for the North American market with 115 VAC (single voltage choice) supply, with either 50-60 Hz or 25-40 Hz power transformer. The North American versions do not use -E tubes.

    There are two models in the series with different cabinet styles. Model 37-2650B is a tombstone, and model 37-2650X is a console with inclined sounding board.

    All versions include a shadow meter (tuning aid).
