• Bemerkung
• The Philco model 37-38 series has a 6-tube 2-band battery-powered chassis. A 2-volt storage battery can be used for the filament supply, or a dry battery (presumably 3 volts) can be used, with a ballast tube that plugs into the battery pack.
  
  There are five models with different cabinet styles. The early version of model 37-38B is a shouldered tombstone; the late version is a rectangular tombstone.
  
  The early version of model 37-38F is a floor-type console with a tulip pattern for the speaker opening. The late version of 37-38F has a large rectangular speaker grill with three vertical bars in front of the speaker. Model 37-38J is a floor-type console with a slightly trapezoidal profile and three vertical bars in front of the speaker.
