Model 37-600C (1936-37) is the successor to model 600C (1936) and the model 59 series (1934-35). Like its predecessors it has a 4-tube circuit combining a superheterodyne front-end with a regenerative IF/detector stage. For the 37-600C, the circuitry was updated to use octal tubes.
The compact cabinet is finished on both sides, with similar grill coutouts front and back.
