The Philco model 37-670 series uses an 11-tube 5-band chassis with shadow meter (tuning aid). Band coverage is 530-1600 kHz (BC), 1.58-4.75 MHz, 4.7-7.4 MHz, 7.35-11.6 MHz, and 11.5-18.2 MHz.
There are two specific models in the series with different cabinet styles. Model 37-670B is a tombstone and model 37-670X is a console with inclined sounding board.
The model 37-2670 series is basically an export version of the 37-670 series, with different band coverage and power supply options.
