    Unfortunately, the suffixes are equivocal regarding the suffixes - pictures hard to clear up - see also the list of codes by clicking the brand/manufacturer:
    Ad in "The Miami Daily News", Friday, November 29, 1940, for Philco model 280X console for $ 69.95 and Philco Companion table model 250T $ 49.95. The same issue had a Sears ad with the Silvertone "Four-Tube Jive-Box" for $ 14.95, 8-tube Silvertone Radio-Phonograph console $ 69.95, 5-tube Radio-Phonograph table radio $ 24.95, and 5-tube Silvertone portable radio $ 19.95.
