• Model 42-1008 uses Philco's "Beam of Light" phonograph pickup with an automatic turntable. The turntable has two speeds: 39.5 and 78 RPM, with a neon lamp stroboscopic speed indicator. Compatible with the HR-2 home recording record cutting attachment. Model 42-1008 is similar to 42-1009 except for cabinet.
